The ID-and-selfie check runs entirely on our verification vendor's systems. POPPED only ever receives a pass/fail and an 18+ confirmation.

Block instantly and report from any room or chat. Reports are prioritized, with the most serious handled first.

No public rejections

Your balloon is private; the room only sees aggregate counts. Popping is self-selection, never humiliation.

Being honest
What verification does — and doesn't — mean

A “POP VERIFIED” badge means one specific thing: a government ID was checked against a live selfie, and the person is 18+. That helps prevent fake profiles and catfishing.

It is not a background check, and it is not a guarantee of anyone's character, intentions, or conduct. Verification reduces some risks — it does not remove them.

⚠️ You're always your own best safety system. Meet in public the first few times, tell a friend your plans, arrange your own transport, and trust your instincts. If something feels off, it's okay to leave.
